Scott McLeod has been serving our church since 1996.  His wife, Laura, is also an ordained minister, and she serves the Delavan United Church of Christ- Congregational.  They have two children, Ruth and Henry, and the whole family is active in the Elkhorn community.

Pastor Scott grew up in New England but received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 1988.  He then went on to receive his Master of Divinity, in 1991, from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Centre, MA.  Scott began his ordained ministry as an Associate Pastor in Manchester, CT, at Center Congregational Church.  Several years after beginning his ministry in Elkhorn he went back to school at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL and received his Doctor of Ministry in 2007.
